OUR PROCESS
FIRST CONTACT
The more information you send us in your first email, the quicker we can provide a quote. Please include as much of the below as possible:
- Inspiration images and moodboards
- Picture of your space
- Dimensions of your space
- Any sketches of mock ups you have done (no judgement on the quality of your drawing skills!)
- Intended use
- Colours and material choices
Following the receipt of this information, we can provide an initial design in the form of a CAD model and a first itemised quote. This will be a good indication of the cost of your commission. This process is totally free.
It’s normal for discussions to follow this quote and amendments made based on your feedback. Re-quoting changes early in the process is free. If you wish to make lots of revisions or big changes to the design after a significant time has been spent on the quote, this may incur a design charge of £30 per hour.
DEVELOPMENT
Once a design has been agreed, your commitment to the project takes the form of a 50% deposit. At this point we will arrange a site visit to get more defined dimensions and to understand any limitations for installation in your property. You will be invited to the workshop to view material samples and finishes to better understand your final product (we can also post samples and arrange video calls if you are located further afield). The remainder of the invoice is due on completion/installation of your project.
MANUFACTURING
All pieces are made with precision in our workshop located in Sheffield by experienced makers. Throughout the manufacture of your project you are welcome to either visit the workshop or request photos to keep up to date with our progress.
INSTALLATION
This will be carried out by a professional friendly team of experienced fitters who will endeavor to make the process as smooth as possible for you. Once installation or delivery is complete the remaining balance of the invoice will be due, payable within 14 days.
